No, no, no...

So, puppies like to sleep wherever they are not supposed to be, and won't sleep where they're supposed to sleep. She'll only sleep in her crate if she can't get out of it, but I only lock her in at night. I'm working on teaching her that she can't sleep on the bed, and I just found her in a laundry basket full of white clothes. She stinks and she needs a bath because she's been out in the snow.

Training

We're working on training today. We've pretty much got "Sit" and "Lay Down," but "Stay" is gonna be a bit more of a challenge. I've found an effective treat for our training sessions, though. I browned some ground beef in the drippings left over from somebody's chicken liver. Tasty!

4out of 5

Pros: Easy Assembly, Effective, Easy to Transport, Lightweight

Best Uses: Home Safety, Training

Describe Yourself: New Pet Owner

Purchased this product for a puppy who will grow into a rather large dog. My only complaint is that the recommendations for dog size was not listed in the product description. The product lists some of the breeds that it is recommended for on the box, but I did not have that information before I purchased it and now it appears that I may need to buy a larger one before my pup is fully grown. I inted to purchse the "Quiet Time" bed that is made by the same manufacturer to fit inside once we take the divider out.

Angel

Here's our puppy.

She was born on October 30, 2009. She's absolutely adorable, but she's a handful. We're trying to crate train her, and teach her not to bite people, but I know almost nothing about dogs, so it's slow going.
